Your self-esteem naturally rises when your body feels well and you get a good night's sleep because you know you're taking care of yourself. Achieving Objectives Anyone who has attempted to lose weight understands that it is a difficult struggle to win. When you achieve your weight loss objectives, though, your self-esteem skyrockets, and you feel great about yourself. Set modest, attainable objectives for your weight reduction journey to increase your chances of success. Instead of attempting to lose 50 pounds in a year, set a monthly target of five pounds.
